Bishop David Hope Formerly Archbishop of York between 1995-2005 and is now a retired bishop living in Yorkshire. Before becoming Primate of England he was Bishop of London and Bishop of his native home diocese of Wakefield. His knowledge of the northern saints is infectious and we are immensely privileged to have secured Bishop David’s time to lead us on Iona. His formal title is now Lord Hope of Thornes. |

Bishop Cyril Ashton is a teacher, preacher, spiritual director and pilgrimage leader. He served as Bishop of Doncaster between 2000-2011. He is Bishop’s Inspector of Theological Colleges. He is married to Muriel and they have four adult children. He loves doing parish week-ends, leading retreats and conducting missions. His other passions include motorbikes and classic cars, poetry, music, wine tasting and walking. His life and work are primarily people-centred and he has concentrated on trying to develop skills that will enable him to work with clergy, encouraging good quality teamwork in parishes. |

Liz Hoare is an Anglican priest and now lectures widely on Celtic history and spirituality. A former tutor at Cranmer Hall, St. John's College, Durham, Liz was, until recently, working in the Diocese of York where she continues to offer a varied ministry. |

Rob Marshall is an Anglican priest with over 20 years experience in communications and public relations. A former communications officer in the Bradford and London diocese, Rob now leads the LTG team. He is the author of four books and a BBC broadcaster. |

The Revd Gavin Wakefield is Director of Mission and Pastoral Studies, teaching mainly in the area of mission. Gavin originally studied mathematics at Durham and after teaching for several years went on to ordination training at Nottingham. He held two posts in the diocese of Sheffield. He was then a Team Vicar in Billericay. He joined the staff of St. John's College in 1998. He is married to Fran, herself a priest, and they have three daughters. |

Bob Fitzharris is the Archdeacon of Doncaster is an experienced pilgrimage leader and has led Celtic pilgrimages to the North East and Scotland on many occasions. He became Archdeacon of Doncaster in 2001 after serving in parishes across the Diocese of Sheffield following a long and distinguished career as a dental surgeon. Bob enjoys travel, and believes that communicating with and to the great northern saints of the British Isles can help us with our ministry and mission in the 21st Century. |

Bishop David James became Bishop of Bradford in 2002 and was previously Bishop of Pontefract and has been a vicar in Sheffield and Southampton. Before ordination he taught Chemistry and he has been a university chaplain and governor of a College of Higher Education. |

The Rt Revd Martyn William Jarrett, is the current Bishop of Beverley. He was educated at Cotham Grammar School and King's College, London. He was ordained in 1968 and began his ecclesiastical career with curacies in Bristol and Swindon. Following this he held incumbencies in Northolt and then Hillingdon. From 1985 to 1991 he worked for the Advisory Council on Church Ministry and was then Vicar of Our Lady and All Saints, Chesterfield before his elevation to the Episcopate, first as Bishop of Burnley in the Blackburn Diocese and then translated to be a Provincial Episcopal Visitor in 2000. |

Fr Timothy Bugby SSC, became Superior General of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament (CBS) in 1991 and oversees much of the work that the charity assists with. An experienced pilgrimage leader, he has led groups abroad, and to Iona with LTG in 2006. |
